Job Location
Millennium Hotel & Convention Centre is an attractive international business class hotel located on Salmiya, Kuwait with 295 well-appointed bedrooms, 3 F&B Outlets, Health Club, Swimming Pool, 21 Meeting & Events/Function Rooms and 6000sqmtr Ballroom & Retail Shops.

Key Job Responsibilities:

Design and implement appropriate marketing strategies & structures in order to ensure the effective strategic positioning and viability of the property
Maintain an up-to-date and comprehensive competitors & market information library.
Maintain a strong working relationship with all target media – print & electronic, local, national and international to encourage and maximize coverage of all events and promotions.
Handles the production of all printed & marketing collaterals and ensure that all publications, brochures & collaterals of the property meet high professional and quality standards and are in accordance with the company’s visual identity guide.
Manage property website and maintain up to date information, promotions & packages.
Adhere to Company and Hotel rules and regulations at all times.
Plans, organizes, integrates and manages all operational aspects and arrangements of media events (press trips, news conferences and related affairs) to facilitate smooth and effective execution of the function.
Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with the media through personal contact, ongoing communication and participating in media events.
Assess potential for positive publicity placement; maintains confidentiality of sensitive company information; develops and updates effective publicity pieces (news releases, fact sheets, press kits, etc.)
Manage operating expenses to minimize costs while providing excellent guest services.
Coordinates compilation and evaluation of press clippings, both print and electronic media coverage
Serve as a primary contact with development partners to address potential for news conference and coordinate details surrounding new hotel announcements. Qualifications
Qualifications / Job Requirement

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, with demonstrated aptitude to explain and train complex technical subjects to a wide variety of hotel users.
