Job Description

Job Summary: The primary function of the salesperson is to generate sale and create new business opportunities for a consulting company. This is an experienced sales position and will be responsible for promoting the company in corporate sector companies. Essential Duties & Responsibilities (not limited to): Follow up and ensure development of existing accounts and pursues new opportunities as available; Provides input into marketing strategies and long-range business plans for the organization for a target business area; Having technical capabilities for both informal and formal customer presentations; Regularly interacts with business development unit, management, group staff, and corporate experts; Frequently interacts with Senior BDM on matters concerning sales target, business development and customer meetings; Initiate sales strategies and coordinate actions to influence the target market; Set goals and reach agreement maintaining the interests of all parties; Proactively develops and improves products and services; Understands client’s needs. Build and maintain excellent relationships with colleagues and clients. May act as a liaison with customer to maintain an ongoing relationship and to develop additional business opportunities; Manage the proposal development process and maintain the time-lines for the proposal teams; Coordinate with clients concerning size, standards, conditions and timing of the training programs; Develop & draft proposals based on meetings and sales discussions; Maintain the Business Development databases; Support marketing activities, including trade shows / Educational Exhibitions, etc. in cooperation with the Marketing Unit. Profile of a salesperson: Proven track record in similar business over at least 2-3 years, preferably with similar experience in selling; Persuasive, articulate and competitive; Excellent organizational and planning skills; Excellent written and oral communication skills; The ability to work in a target driven, goal oriented and team selling environment; Strong technology skills including a working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Power Point) The candidate will possess a Bachelor's in Business Management, Marketing or equivalent, MBA preferred; Must possess outstanding leadership, Customer and relationship management skills. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision; Preferably demonstrated experience and accomplished track record in the field of Training & Education Business. Kuwait Residence Own a car Authority: Reports to the Corporate Business Manager/ Senior BDM. Communicates with Senior Managers (as necessary). Work in coordination with the Marketing Unit for publicity purposes.
